If you’re the kind of traveler who wants to see the Grand Canyon from top to bottom, then you’ll want to do our bus tour that includes a helicopter to the bottom of the West Rim and a boat ride on the Colorado River.
This tour leaves once a day in the morning aboard one of our nicely appointed, 56-passenger deluxe touring buses. The trip leaves Las Vegas and makes its way to historic Boulder City, a town built specifically for workers who built the Hoover Dam.
We’ll drive past the Lake Mead National Recreation Area and cross the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge before pulling over for a 15-minute Hoover Dam photo-stop. Back on board, we’ll cut through some incredibly rugged mountain passes then go through the Mojave Desert en route to Grand Canyon West.
Inside the Park, you’ll transfer to a deluxe helicopter for the 4,000-foot descent to the bottom of the Canyon. It’s an incredible moment as you fly over buttes and canyons before you land. From here you’ll make your way to the boat dock, board a pontoon river boat and float down the Colorado River.
Back on dry land you’ll head back to a shade Ramada where you and the rest of your group will get back on the helicopter and make the ascent back to the top and past the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass bridge that lets visitors walk over the edge!
Back on top you’ll have plenty of time to explore. We suggest putting Eagle Point and Guano Point on your list, as the views from those lookouts are spectacular. It’s also at this time that you can do lunch, which is a box lunch prepared and served by the Hualapai Tribe. There’s also plenty of time to shop for souvenirs and do the Skywalk. This tour sells out quite often so advanced bookings are advised.

Grand Canyon Skywalk is optional and you can purchase tickets for it at checkin. No cameras allowed on the platform. Professional photographers are available to take your picture (cost not included in tour). Free lockers are available where you can securely store you belongings.
